How? Using unused stock levels, we will modify a few things, then the level will be treated as a Hammer Bro level. That means that once the enemies are dead, the treasure chest appears.
Why do something like this? Because stock hammer bros, for some reason, are the first thing to break in a hack, and this redeems the function of their purpose, but in the superior form of a level (stock levels have more bytes to work with, and allow more enemies. more enemies, more difficult).
Why else?
Because it is a cool way to add some character to your game.
Because It's a good way to slip a bonus item to your players at the end of the level, instead of doing it some other way.
Because you can use this boss battle level as a great Next Area for your level, to finish out your level with a boss fight.
