| It's a huge job | diablo666 | 2021-09-30 | Version 23 (5125) |
I usually don't touch fighting games. However, it interested me. It seems that a lot of characters will create a problem, but, however, the balance of power between them is well designed. Ordinary fighters and BOSSES - they feel exactly as they should. (Like the hack came out before MK9) In addition to the fighters, there are many arenas for battles, many different (except for the main finishes) final, final finishes, create a "Test Tower", change the settings - as you want and, my favorite, enter the battle, having on hand from 1-8 fighters at once I recommend it, because a lot has been done here and qualitatively. Only a slight minus: "pulls special emulators"

This is my favorite version of MK hands down, but the fact MK 1 Reptile doesn't use both Sub Zero and Scorpions move sets keep this from being absolutely awesome. I know the argument can be made about it being redundant, but this hack contains all of the characters from every 16 But Mortal Kombat game and Reptile is the only one to have his move set changed. This is still one of the best hacks ever created, I just feel Reptile was changed for no legitimate reason.

Brilliant hack. 57 (58?) characters, added backgrounds, speech, animalities, if you're a fan of the Megadrive/Genesis Mortal Kombats you MUST try this patch. If there are any faults they're purely cosmetic, spelling errors in the ending screens, and some new animality sprites look a bit cheap (though I do love and respect the hokey sense of humour.) Also I'm not sure about the 58th slot, a 'No Name' Noob Saibot with missing avatar? He works, so no harm no foul. It's a shame there's been no update for six years, there's still a lot of things that can be improved and added.
| Live Up To That "Ultimate" Title | Eldrethor | 2018-02-22 | Version Hack 23 (5 |
This is one of those extraordinarily ambitious hacks that strives to do a lot, and the results of Kabal_MK's work are nothing short of breathtaking. UMKT takes the foundations of UMK3, and adds on everything from MK1 and MK2, and it does so in a way that goes beyond just throwing in past characters and stages. Those fighters are all completely fleshed out with special moves and button combos, which puts them on equal footing with the MK3 characters, and the roster is massive, incorporating multiple versions of characters from across the three games. Even previously unplayable secret characters are thrown into the mix, and have been given unique movesets so that they don't end up being the shallow ninja hybrids that they were in their debut titles. For example, MK1 Reptile gains the invisibility move and an acid spit in place of the spear and iceball, along with a full plethora of combos and finishing moves. Some characters like the MK1 Shang Tsung and Khameleon became obscenely powerful, thanks to the robust move pools that they were given, but they make for some fun matches. My one gripe with this hack is that it has no qualms about putting you up against boss characters, which are treated like standard fighters, so you may find yourself starting off the game with Motaro or Chameleon waiting for you. Granted, they are tuned to be slightly more vulnerable than in past games, but they are still powerhouse characters that deserve their own unique placements in the towers of destiny. The hack comes with an optional bonus tracks patch, but I personally find the vocals and techno beats of this remixed selection a bit too much of a departure from the standard soundtrack. Overall, this is a fantastic hack, and the amount of work that went into it is to be admired. It makes for a great standalone game that deserves a solid 8/10.

| Flawless Hack. Like MUGEN | Gamerhenky | 2016-07-25 | Version Hack 23 (5 |
Over many years, this updated MKT version is amazing one than MKT. A bunch of new features are packaged in one Sega Genesis game, it's like MUGEN you can only add anything in that game. But here, it hacked and add flawless feature and restoring the lost features, they did it past years, unlike the other game. However it still has more bugfixes if you're found a bug. It cannot be played on real console due to the limitations. Recommended for hardcore gamers especially mature gamers. UPDATE: Can be played on Mega Everdrive flash cart.
| This hack is awesome | MathUser2929 | 2012-12-13 | - |
The quanity of stuff this hack adds is incredible. Every character from MK1-MKT minus MK3 Noob Saibot. The new moves can be cheesey at time but they are still a good addition. Overall the additional stuff enhances the game and makes it that much deeper. Reccomended.
