This hack does exactly what it sets out to do by allowing you to collect all Pokemon from fire red and leaf green without trading. I finished the game on the RG351V and encountered no issues. Well worth your time!

There's some instances where the changes feel odd or out of place, and remind you that you're playing a rom hack. Bill randomly telling you "Hey, step in my machine" which takes you to Mew is odd, as well as Oak having some secret passage to a hidden area to catch other starters. Also encountered a grammar issue where a girl asks a question, but doesn't end it with a question mark. Also, I really appreciate how version exclusive Pokémon are obtainable in the same routes as the original games, but noticed that some encounter rates are altered. I personally don't see the point and would just make them like they were originally. And in the case of both games having different rates for some Pokémon (in FireRed NidoranM=14% but NidoranF=1%, vice versa in LeafGreen) just have both rates the same (both NidoranM and Female=14%). Edit: There's a point in the game where you can temporarily max out your coins. I do not agree with this addition because it gives you less incentive to spend money (which there isn't much of outside coin prizes)

At the time this came out, Ultra Violet was a pretty big deal. A whole separated area to catch what wasn't in the game previously, no way! However there are some pretty terrible bugs in especially late game, but worst of all the hacker hid some very important information from the player that arguably defies the scope of this hack. How do trade evos work again? Can't hit Gyarados when you first encounter one? Oh, you say it has a different type now? Hacks like this became a lot more polished in recent years, for example the FireRed+ and LeafGreen+ project.
| So close to perfection | kooloo5000 | 2020-02-15 | Version 1.22 |
This hack does so much great, so much perfect. Absolutely no one likes roaming legendaries, however. Such a shame that they're here.
