Hack description

This is a hack to allow Mario & Wario to be played with a standard controller.

It was created by an unknown author and found as a pre-patched ROM.
It allows the Control Pad to function as the cursor and the Y Button is the left mouse button.
The original hack did not support the right mouse button, so the game could not be paused. KingMike fixed that.

Useful, but room for improvementsamusgoestothebeach2024-03-27Version 1.0

This game in particular for some reason gives me a lot of problems with its mouse cursor movement where other games I've had no problems, so this hack is quite useful.

There is one issue though, which is that the button assigned to left click seems to press the left click repeatedly if the button is held, which I don't think is a behavior of the real mouse controls. So don't hold the button, right? Well, it's a pretty short delay, actually. It's something that's likely intentional for those parts where you might want to click as fast as possible, such as on coin blocks, but it's bad for the things you only want to click once.

That said if mouse controls aren't working for you or aren't available to you (like if you're playing on a console and don't own an SNES or SFC mouse), this is still good enough.
