Hack description

This hack makes Tails follow Knuckles around like he does Sonic. Simply select a save file with Knuckles and Tails will follow him. Patch this to a Sonic 3 & Knuckles ROM in binary format (.bin or .gen).

There are a few minor issues with this patch:

Tails doesn't appear with Knuckles on the save select screen.

Tails can't carry Knuckles like he does Sonic.

Tails doesn't follow Knuckles in the special stage.

Tails doesn't follow Knuckles if you select a level via level select.

Other than those issues this plays perfectly, Tails behaves exactly as you'd expect.

For a half done hack this is pretty ok. I guess the main thing is that Tails follows Knuckles during the side-scrolling sections. He just don't play exactly the same. Try this hack for the novelty of Tails following Knuckles.
