It actually makes matters worsegoldenband2020-02-23Version 1.0

This cute Ring King hack claims to eliminate the "questionable content found between rounds", i.e. the infamous scene that inadvertently makes it look as if each boxer's corner man is performing a sex act upon him.

I don't know whether the hack is meant in earnest, or it's a joke. Either way, I'll take it at face value and assume that it's sincerely trying to eliminate any appearance of impropriety.

The problem is, once the hacker removed the corner man in front of the boxer, we're left with a simple black bar - one that completely covers the boxer's crotch (as well as his wrists), with no sign of his shorts.

Now, instead of looking like the boxer is engaged in a sex act (but in a humorous and obviously unintentional way), it looks like the boxer really is naked from the boots up, and only the black bar keeps us from seeing his "equipment". Plus he's gyrating a bit.

So the whole thing arguably comes off as more obscene, not less. Many an innocent observer wouldn't bat an eye at the original, but everyone knows what the infamous black bar means: something "dirty" got censored.

Thus, this hack fails in its goal - all for want of a proper pair of shorts!
