Hack description

As with Castlevania - Legends, I've always felt that Christopher Belmont moves too slowly to make the game fun.

This hack significantly improves his walking/jumping speed. There are patches for the following releases of the game:

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge: Classic USA mono release.

Dracula Densetsu II: Japanese version. Has the Banshee Boomerang, which was swapped for the Axe in the US release.

Konami Collection 3: Japanese Super Gameboy enhanced compilation of Konami games.

Konami GB Collection Vol. 4: European GBC enhanced compilation.

While I thought that Christopher moved fast enough in the orignal game, I made the patched ROM as my default ROM anyway. It just makes it more bearable to play through.

Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge is a great game that is ruined by Belmont's slow paced, casual walking. This hack is simple but does the job, with this hack the game is faster paced and overall more fun.
