Like MORTAL KOMBAT II UNLIMITED, everything else is pretty much still the same, Except that now you'll get to see a lot BETTER Visuals of this game to even look MORE like it's Arcade Counterpart as well! Playing as Ermac still requires a Game Genie and to find him is still the same as usual. (Like it was with Jade.) Again, here's how to play as Ermac & fight him:

Play as Ermac: Enter "30006A: 0015" as your Code, while using the Game Genie!

Fight Ermac: Fight your way up the tournament until you reach the fighter just under the ? Portrait. Defeat the opponent by only using Low Kicks. You will go to Goro's Lair to fight Ermac.

This is a great hack of an arcade classic, it improves the colors, finishes and details that were missing in the original, but I just would like them to remove the MK1 stages, since they are out of tune with those of MK2, or at least if they could put an option OFF to make them optional to the player.

This was put together so well and is such a nice upgrade to MKII on the Sega Genesis. But, their is one small problem that I wish could be fixed. The sound effects for the uppercut, sweep and roundhouse kick have been erased and switched with your opponent grunting. The sound of the impact for the 3 strongest attacks have been completely erased. Please, fix this small sound issue and it will be near perfect.

The colors look so much better! This is one of the big issues I had when this game came out was the washed out and incorrect color palette on top of the lacking voice samples but on top of that this patch adds the stages from mk1 and a bunch of extras. The only thing that would truly complete this patch is the original arcade mk1 music and color enhancement for the character icons which are completely off. Although the addition of the bosses as playable characters is amazing!
