Hack description

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist is a excellent Turtles game, but has some problems and a dark look that destroys the cool look of the series. This patch restores the cowabunga style of the Turtles and everything is much more closer to the arcade original. Pizza Time!

Changes:

-Turtles now use the same visuals as the original
-All openings redone
-All scenarios remade
-All enemies retouched

Without a doubt one of the best color hacks by Pyron! Hyperstone Heist is a classic Genesis title that remixes elements from 'TMNT The Arcade Game' and 'Turtles in Time' for the Super Nintendo, but suffers from questionable color choices. Until now! The new colors shine, especially in levels like the sewers and the ghost pirate ship. Check this one out. (Thank you, Pyron!)

UPDATE: Can this patch be done for the Japanese version as well? Return of the Shredder has tougher foot soldier AI plus an attack where they kick from the sides of the screen in the later levels!

This hack will be largely subjective to most people, but for me, it gets 2 thumbs up. I discovered this game for the first time a week ago, and at first I thought it just looked drab compared to Turtles in Time. When I found this patch, I immediately applied it. Now the game looks like its source material: a late-80s cartoon show. There's really no reason to not apply it.
