Hack description

The first Hard Mode Hack of Pokémon Stadium.

The good news is that the rental Pokémon have been buffed; they have better movesets and stats, and the prevolutions of most Pokemon have been replaced by final stage evolutions with different movesets.

All 151 Pokémon can be recorded in Hall of Fame from Rental Pokémon alone. You'll need to reach Round 2 in order to achieve this. Only certain cups have certain Pokémon provided, so you have to visit many of them. You can still use continues in the Stadium Cups, but you cannot do so in Gym Leader Castle.

Enemies are significantly stronger. They have better AI, Pokemon teams, movesets, stats. Round 2 also has some surprises on your way.

Note:
If you are using Project 64, you will need to include the new CRC values in the RDB file, since this is a recent Pokémon Stadium hack.

A great modinsectduel2018-03-08Version 1.0

I really like the concept of changing the opponent's team and rental Pokémon which is based on the tournament or generation 2's egg moves, level moves, TM's or HM's to generation 1 Pokémon. What bothers me in general in game play itself is the pink text which represent an illegal Pokémon's movesets like Gyarado's Flamethrower which is taught by Pokémon Crystal or a level 5 Squirtle learning Hydro Pump. Nintendo should have updated Pokémon Stadium (Pocket Monsters Stadium 2 in Japan) with these changes that are being brought in generation 2. If you are a romhacker, at least know the knowledge of removing pink colored text to each illegal Pokémon learning movesets from generation 2 or even push your limits to generation 3 and onward which is according to the Nintendo DS handheld standards.

Like I said, it's just the game itself but the hack is awesome! It's a shame that Nintendo never updated Pokémon Stadium to confirm which moves are legal and illegal when used in gameplay.
