Hack description

Streets of Rage 3, while the graphics and gameplay are at it's peak for the series, there are many audio issues.
Sound effects are too loud & too low in quality. The music is good, but is horribly misused and sometimes annoying.

This hack tries to fix those issues to create the best possible version of the game while still staying close to the original.
This is achieved by replacing some sound effects from the English version, reducing the volume on others, and most importantly moving music around.

No changes to gameplay/graphics have been made.

It was a great choice to move the two "poets" pieces to the first stage. They are the best tunes in the game. I liked the stage switches to a few of the other music too, and I appreciated that he did a thorough job documenting his changes and his reasoning behind his decisions. Finally, I compared the modified voice/sound samples between an unmodded ROM and one with this hack, and I noticed the more annoying voices/sounds have been quieted to less irritating levels. They're still audible, but I think they sound more balanced now. I'm using this with the Bare Knuckle 3 translation patch and I have had no issues so far.
