I can say the re-localization is much better for the game itself. It is amazing. Thank you guys for this relocalization and hope the 3rd X game gets the same treatment like this and the Rockman X version had for the relocalizing (though on the first, I still miss the US names, but it's a small price to pay).
| It fits the series a lot better now | Polargames | 2019-11-07 | Version 1.0 |
This patch is great, it took care of all of the bugs that made the game feel like the odd ball in the series. I love it how it makes it more in line with the japanese version. Over all it a must have patch :-D!!!
| much better translation | supersonicjc | 2019-11-06 | Version 1.0 |
so back in the 90's most games had some bad engrish or hell a story that was pulled out of a back room toilet and stuck into a game in hopes they thought the translations were correct enough to pass as official plot points, fastforward to the 2010's and those translations have wonderful people taking there own time to redub some and others actually translate games that got this horrid treatment, this game was a nasty black eye to the bigger plot of the X Series as a whole as at times there were parts that made no sense period and other times they flat out said something that made so little sense that later games had to spend time to correct....... this rescrub one can call it takes 1 part of the actual Japanese text that was translated a long time ago and sprinkled in a story that fits the game much better and fixed some glaring typos that were in a mind you officially released game that im sure if it was ported over to something more then the snes back in the day would have prolly gotten fixed sadly that never happened but thank god for fan hackers to fix those issues. the extra patch to change the title screen to align this game with later titles all the way on the ps2 mind you is a nice touch too
