Hack description

Kirby's Dream Land DX Revised is an addendum hack to the colorization hack of Kirby's Dream Land, Kirby's Dream Land DX made by GreenAndACat.

The changes to the colorization are really minimal, but they give a slight graphical polish to the game.

* Removed the small "DX" next to the title screen
* Restores the official copyright text in the title screen
* Modifies the floating Kirby sprite at the Title screen to not look as derpy. Added a bit of shading to the sprite, and also modified the default pink colour used for the title screen to match the pink used in-game
* Modified the HUD graphics so the small Kirby icon now shares the colours of Kirby in-game

Despite what other people say about the colors, clearly being color-blind and thinking that Kirby is a dark magenta, this is perfect coloration and a vast improvement on the existing patch. Having said that, I will not use this version of this patch, just as I have not used the other for one glaring issue. The fade transition, which works fine without a palette, is incredibly glitchy and should be remedied. I know it's not exactly easy, as there was a great deal of trouble with the Metroid 2 color patches getting the fade transitions to work. Having said that, it was clearly made possible, so it would be appreciated if the same effort could be put into a v1.1 of this patch. If you can accomplish what the other patch could not, I'm sure these No recommends will turn into Yes recommends.

It looks nice (only tested in a emulator, mGBA) and play as the original but colorful, so, I think it is highly recommended. PS: I did like "small DX" :_(

So, I don't really find this addendum to be much of a plus to the original colourization hack. I felt the more muted colours of the original looked nicer, and the changed title screen is something I can live without.
