Hack description

Pokémon - Faria Version is a ROM hack of Pokémon - FireRed Version (USA, V1.0). The story and gameplay are the same as the original Pokémon game, with some new features and changes done along the way, like a new storyline on top of the main one, a new rival as the antagonist and Sandshrew as the hero. The starters have been changed and the difficulty of the game has been increased, so trainers, your main rival, gym leaders and the Elite Four will have different teams and strategies. The Pokémon on the wild will change as you progress the game and find new areas, so it's possible to catch 'em all (386 Pokémon + Riolo & Lucario + Giratina Origin Form) through one entire playthrough, as long as you finish the new storyline.

Features:

- New storyline involving Sandshrew and a new powerful rival;
- Harder overall difficulty, with different teams and strategies for trainers, main rival, gym leaders and the Elite Four;
- New areas to discover and explore with rare Pokémon to find;
- Some evolutions are unlocked even before you have the National Dex;
- All 386 Pokémon are possible to obtain, as well as Riolo & Lucario + Giratina Origin Form;
- All Legendary Pokémon have been implemented in the overworld;
- Almost all items can be obtained and bought eventually, including all TM's;
- Fixed Pokedéx species text only showing the first word when there were 2 words to show;

- The move Triple Kick was changed to Force Palm;
- The move Teeter Dance was changed to Aura Sphere;
- The move GrassWhistle was changed to Ominous Wind;
