Hack description

Waterworld for the SNES is a game with mixed reviews, despite it having a good soundtrack. The SNES version was released in Europe only. What Americans got instead are versions for Microsoft Windows and unexpectedly enough, the Virtual Boy.

The game's soundtrack uses an echo effect with a delay of 0 milliseconds in order to simulate other effects. However, an oversight in the game's sound driver accidentally had the "disable echo" flag turned on, so there are no effects.

The patch provided here fixes it, thus improving the sound quality a bit.
