The hack was fine. It does require the player to search for the intended path a few too many times with some hidden entrances. I assumed I skipped a section when I picked up the LV 3 sword so early, but then realized how underpowered I was when I was meant to fight Ganon with it. With no tunic upgrade, it only takes 2 hits to get a game over and with only one bottle, the odds of that happening are significantly higher. It's a little much to expect the player to know to fall into the hole to get the required silver arrow and bow, to do damage near the end. It's a decent attempt, but a little too cryptic and expects the player to comb the overworld just to make progress.
