One of my favourite SNES games is Skyblazer, which is by the same company and sort of a follow up to Hook. Except the movement is fast! So while I've tried to play Hook, the weird physics and slow movement always killed it for me. I tried hacking faster walking myself, but could never get it quite right - the character ending up sliding as if on ice. So to discover this hack, which implemented everything I've ever wanted, and so perfectly, it is a joy to experience. When I discovered its existence last night I immediately loaded it up and finish the game in one sitting. It makes everything better. Combat flows better. The levels feel better. Boss fights feel more dynamic. It is one of the greatest hack improvements I have ever used - this to me defines why I like the romhacking scene. The game is just so much BETTER now. Honestly, it's bizarre why the original game did not control like this. Why did they make it the way they did? My sincerest thanks to the creator of this patch - it is perfection.

This patch is perfect. I've always loved this game, but as we all know, the controls are often weird and sluggish. This fixes it all! I'm so happy!

A really great improvement of the controls and overall movement! There is nothing more to say! It's great! The ONLY downside I found is that Peter now flies a bit faster and it may be tough to maneuver him in some situations, but moments like these are really rare, so not that big of a deal! Absolutely recommend this mod!
