Translation description

This is the first alpha version of Dragonsbrethren's Final Fantasy IV Easy Type translation. Consider it a replacement for the old version released back in October of 2002. It features accurate translation of item, enemy, and skill names (barring exceptions made for commonly localized terms and things that simply wouldn't fit) and a fully translated main menu. It should be far more playable than his previous translation.

Not a full translation, but makes the Easy Type playableRed88Rex2021-12-17Version Alpha 1

Everything except the dialogue is translated. If you are to the point where you seek this version out, I am sure you can manage without the dialogue. I completed the game with no issues. There are many differences that are fun to see, especially Zeromus himself.

A couple issues I noticed:

Psych and Scorch are misspelled (Pysch and Scortch in the game). While in battle, some characters get cut off. For example, enemy names are missing the first two letters. When using an item, the first letter is cut off.

Other than that, well done!
