Utility description
Goals of this project:
1.) Assemble known editable hex locations for the SF2 rom into a standardized and sharable format.
2.) Make it available to the masses so that even those unfamiliar with hex editing can take advantage.
3.) Make the program easily extensible, meaning that as new information comes along, or people wish to share their finds, they can do so using the utility.
Quick instructions:
- Start by opening a rom. This is the rom you will be altering using the utility.
- Place unaltered ROMs in the "Unchanged Roms" folder (I include both a 2MB and 4MB version). This allows the program to automatically create context.
- "Locations" contain information detailing each rom location that can be changed (such as stat caps).
- "Locations List" is a collection of locations and the actual file that is saved in the "Hex Locations" folder.
