Utility description

This is a simple program that will add space to a NES rom, i.e. expand it. This program only adds space to a NES ROM. You will still need the knowledge of mappers and assembly necessary to take advantage of this space.

Works on many mappers, but some have irregular expansion methods.

Tested exceptions:

• MMC1 with 512KB PRG-ROM (iNES #1)


• Namcot 106 (iNES #19)


• Taito Mapper #4 (iNES #82)
