Well...Chaos is accurate...Sosuko2020-11-16Version 1.0

I won't lie, I didn't complete this hack since it really just seemed a little "shoddy" compared to other hacks available for Rockman 2. The level design and aesthetic is pretty chaotic and unappealing, with only a few interesting moments here and there from what I played. Boss fights in particular felt extremely janky. The ones I fought zipped all over the place, or in the case of Crashman, continually phased in and out of the floor while shooting oddly colored projectiles that just blended with the background.

By no means an awful hack, but given how many great ones exist for the base game, I'd recommend skipping this one.

Rockman 2 Chaos

Levels: Good

Graphics: Okay (Few Changes)

Music: No Change

Enemies: Good (Few Changes)

Bosses: Good

Weapons: Good

Castle: Good (Platforming Heavy/Imbalanced)

Difficulty: MEDIUM-HARD

Comments: Chaos is a very competent hack that's perhaps only brought down by the lack of a soundtrack change. Some of the new weapons are interesting (Quick Beam) and the bosses are very ambitious. Unfortunately, the author has a penchant for single block platforming and crabs, and the boss rush feels very dependent on RNG. It's by no means stellar, but there's enough here to make it a worthy playthrough for Mega Man fans that feel they've played the best already.
