Rockman 3: Deft - BADDobu_GM2021-08-14Version 1.0

Rockman 3: Deft

Levels: Eh

Graphics: Eh (Bosses are BAD)

Music: No Change (it's only shuffled)

Enemies: No Change

Bosses: Bad

Weapons: No Change

Castle: Bad

Difficulty: MEDIUM-HARD

Comments: Don't worry about playing this one—it stinks. As is par for the course for CHIKO, the custom graphics are junk and the level design is all over the place, bouncing back and forth between yawn-worthy and infuriating. Seriously, try to get past the second screen of Hard Man's stage to see what I mean. Besides loving screens where damage is unavoidable, CHIKO has altered the bosses for the worse, speeding them up and giving them very few weaknesses, forcing you to brute force your way through fights (Needle Man, Gemini Man, etc). The Kamegoro Maker (Wily 1) is the most odious of the lot, having no weaknesses, additional health, and is stuck at top speed. Lastly, when the end of the game becomes a cakewalk, that's when CHIKO finally decides to toss E-tanks your way. Terrible all around.

A good hack.ActionHenk2019-12-04Version 1.0

In general this could be considered a medium difficulty hack. It felt a lot like an official Mega Man game in some ways, apart from ridiculously difficult jumping segments (there aren't a lot of these and you can get passed them, but they exist).

Vanilla enemies appear in stages they didn't originally appear in and the stages are modified a lot.

The new bosses are: Hydro Man, Wizard Man, Blade Man, Steel Man, Killer Man, Mirror Man, First Man, Cherry Man. Their behaviors have been modified but not too much.
