Rockman 5: Killer to Hell - BADDobu_GM2021-08-14Version 1.0

Rockman 5: Killer to Hell

Levels: Eh

Graphics: Eh

Music: Eh

Enemies: Bad (mostly health/damage increases)

Bosses: Bad

Weapons: Eh

Castle: Okay

Difficulty: HARD

Comments: More like "Player in Hell" am I right??!!! This hack is your typical CHIKO affair that's annoying on every front: inexplicable difficult spikes, poor checkpoint placement, bosses you must brute force (Charge Man, Dark Man 3), and annoying enemies that have too much health or are flat out immune. Level design is rarely impressive, as most of the time the hack's just relentlessly aggressive, tossing enemies at you to constantly knock you down pits. Plus there's a couple sections that are outright evil—Gravity Man's stage has a cruel gravity flipping portion over a bottomless pit, with no markings as to where the gravity swaps occur! The end of the hack deprives you of E-tanks and makes you fight bosses that can destroy you in 3 hits, so have fun being forced to flawlessly fight the Wily Machine. Killer to Hell is only worth checking out if you're intrigued by how the devil himself would design a hack, as it's one of the hardest things I've completed thus far.
