Rush is now Tango, and some of the weapon palettes are different. The buster shot looks great in the new palette, and the sliding animation is spectacular. The sprites on the Weapon Get screen are unbelievably good; almost like they were made for a different system, especially Tango.

Zynk Oxhyde again brings love to the Megaman classic series with his Roll-Chan hack of the classic Megaman 4. This is a complete character hack of MM4 that allows Rock's sister Roll to enjoy the spotlight.

Unlike the older Roll-Chan hacks by Yuifa, this one is a thorough and complete hack of Megaman 4, replacing everything Megaman specific with Roll's likeness, including all her sprite frames and 1-ups, as well as brand new, professional looking animated sprites for the game's intro sequence and the 180 degree spin during the Get Weapon sequence. These sprites even differ depending if you are playing the Classic or Megaman 8 Roll version of this hack! Consderable work was put into this hack and it really shows.

With all this said, keep in mind this is a mere graphical hack that doesn't alter the levels or other gameplay elements of Megaman 4 at all. Preexisting issues with Megaman 4 still remain, such as losing your charge shot when hit, the uneven difficulty of some levels and so on.

Like his other Roll-Chan hacks, Zynk is offering four versions his hack - two for Megaman 4 (U) and two for Rockman 4 (J). The two versions for each region are Roll in her Megaman 1-7 outfit, and the other garbs her in her Megaman 8 outfit. Both outfits look as good as the NES sprite limitations will allow.

Overall, this is a recommended hack for those who want to give Roll some spotlight.

It might not be as extensive a hack as Minus Infinity, but Zynk's efforts are certinally to be commended here. Roll-Chan 4 has some of the best custom sprites I've ever seen.
