This ROMhack is definitely a case of "less is more". You'll finish it in 30 minutes at the most, and it's 30 minutes well spent. A very small overworld, 4 even smaller dungeons, but it is a well-made game. The map flows well and thanks to the hints provided by the NPS, you won't have to backtrack very far, if even at all.

Another nice thing about this ROMhack is no grinding. The shops have what you need, when you need it, and at prices well below what you would expect.

I would love to see more ROMhacks like this, either from this author or other authors.

I enjoyed playing this little hack Skelux Core released. Nothing too special and nothing too hard, just a nice little hack this person threw together. Not a huge overworld like the original, new map, new areas, 1/3 the size, and only 4 mini dungeons to complete to get items to move on to the next level or area of the game, If you know your Zelda 1 you should be able to complete this game in 10-20 mins at least.

I hope this person releases another Zelda 1 type of game, he knows how to edit things and not to make to difficult for new-comers to try out for themselves. I hope and look forward to another hack

I had lots of fun playing this one. The overworld map and dungeons are roughly 1/3 the size of the original, and there are very few items to pick up. Completion time runs around 15 minutes, but it's well worth it.

If you like Zelda, this game is a fun play around. Completion time runs around 15-20 minutes. The dungeons are very, very small. There are few items. The game is very straight-forward. All in all it's a neat little run for a one time play.
