Some Spoilers Ahead:

I gotta say, I had a great time playing this hack, some parts of the game did annoy me though. I liked the fact that he made bomb prices very cheap in the shops but also meant you'd spent a lot of the time bombing walls to find secrets (which I did). Some shops also gave you free hearts because of some overworld enemies were in some tough spots, Most of the overworld was changed from the original, finding the heart containers in the open world were hard to find, but I did manage to 100% the game for the love of the original NES Zelda game. This game was also generous with rupees for bomb up-grades and bombing lots of places. All dungeons were from the original game but they did have tougher enemies to fight which you wouldn't see later on the game. Levels 1-5 had some tough enemies Levels 6-9 where the same from the original. I couldn't find the White sword until the end of the game, So most o the game I played with the Wooden sword (I got the Master Sword before the White sword haha) I did do the level's out of order because some of the other levels I couldn't find til later because the early levels had different main items from the original.

I haven't yet tried the 2nd quest, But maybe some time in the future I'll give it a try. This person had some great thoughts on the overworld, kinda hoped he did some level design than just add tougher enemies in some of the early dungeons

PS: The Power bracelet and blue ring were not hard to find at all!

I have played the original NES Zelda probably at least 15 times and I have wanted to see some custom changes done to spice up the great game that is LoZ and this satisfied that desire. I LPed it on my channel and it was a blast, VERY RECOMMEND PLZ!!!!

This was simply an awesome hack. Loads of fun. Zelda 1 at its best. I highly recommend it.

Very cool hack. Gameplay is awesome with a completely worked overworld. Dungeon maps are the same in both quests. I cant find level 8 in 2nd quest yet. You can get stuck in a potion room on J2 . Very tricky and fun though.

I'm only going to say that this hack has been thoroughly entertaining for me! I have played several hacks and each one has had it's unique twists.

With this one, CXS has created a challenging and twisted world that takes looking for levels to a whole new level! I haven't finished yet, but I'm already a big fan.

I have beaten six out of eight levels so far and the arrow is the only item eluding me. But I will continue hunting in this new zelda-world!

I just can;t believe this was all programmed on a chromebook!!! It makes me want to try doing a hack of my own. I imagine the only glitch the game has, which has to do when accessing your items (and who knows, maybe it's just me!) was due to the resources used. It does not really interfere with the game play, however and it erases when you move away form the screen.

Bottom line, I love this hack, CXS, just keep 'em coming, lol! I'm not kidding, I want to play more!!!!!

With this you've totally made my Christmas! Once I beat it I'll be playing it over and over and maybe adding some extra hacks on top of it :-)
