Though the game stars Toad, this game is pretty vanilla in every other sense. The levels feel pretty similar to the ones in the original game, though things are tweaked to oranges and red to invoke a autumn/Halloween feel. Unlike the other hacks in this "season" series, you are not given x9 lives to start and fireballs follow their usual arc (as opposed to going straight).

I will say, though I enjoyed it, this hack seems a little rough around the edges in terms of difficulty spikes and level design. There were are least 2 occasions where I got stuck and had to wait for time to expire, and one of the late game castles is particularly brutal.

Check if out if you're hungry for some SMB content, otherwise I'd recommend the other games in the series instead

Where to start, this game is absolutely stunning. Very impressive level design along with fantastic graphics and music to boot. This game is a complete hack and actually feels like it.

There is a very inspiring sort of feel to this game. I very much like the music in the castle levels. The difficulty slowly builds and becomes very satisfying towards the end.

There is a good mix of level obstacles as well as enemies and the game never feels like it's run out of steam or ideas. You can run pretty fast throughout as well if you're an impatient Mario player like me. I love the choice of enemies, and the use of the "angry mushroom" which tricked me a few times!

I can't wait to try out the rest of what Teeporage777 has done. Blown away by this offering for sure.
