Almost PerfectBrunoxsa2023-07-23Version Final

This hack is an excellent compromise if the player is not willing to play the Japanese version of Mega Man Zero.

However, there are some small issues:

  • After defeating Carryarms (flying yellow mechaniloids) carrying Spikings (spikeball mechaniloids) by using single slash attacks, during their destruction animation, instead of showing the regular sprites of the enemies being cut in half and falling down, a visual glitch will show duplicated sprites.
  • In the dialogue side, there are some instances where extra spaces between words appear or the regular ones are missing. These cases are more evident in the optional dialogues of side characters around the Resistance Base.

Outside of that, this hack fulfills its promises and it is perfectly functional!

Edgy as it should beThirteen 13552019-12-16Version Final

It seems the reviewer two stories below me isn't a huge fan of aesthetical/graphical hacks, spamming the same review over and over. It may not be of your taste, but that doesn't change the fact that this hack allows people to play the Mega Man Zero games as was intended by the developers of Inti Creates.

Certainly a good hack, I can safely say after the final typos were squished. Just not for people with a sensitive stomach.

You just fulfilled an old dream of mine: Megaman Zero's uncensorship. Now, playing this game is much better for me.

I can see the enemies now bleed just like in Japanese version. I can see some scripts revised to match the darky ambientation present originally and censored in American / European versions. Even the dry blood in the walls of the second boss was restored.

Thank you so much for this jewel you made for us. And it'd be great to see the same for the other three MMZ games.
