For the most part it's a very good level hack, the creator of it did a really good job with the level designing and throwing things in here and there to make things seem new, original, fun, more challenging and tricky for the player. As I soon began to notice the behavioural changes with certain enemies while I played through the levels such as the piranha plants, the Lakitu's (who are a real sassy bitch in this game) and also with the cannons, I much preferred the enemy behaviours contained within the original game. However, this definitely added some additional challenge to the game itself which is good but took some getting use to. Despite the game being difficult, and frustrating at times I was still able to make it all the way to world 8 in a timely fashion without warping or the use of save states and was very much counting on completing all 32 levels the same way. But unfortunately, I was disappointed and reluctant to concede that I had no choice eventually but to cave in and use them after world 8-2 and that it was pretty much an inevitable thing for anyone, due to a variety of reasons that include: saving time, the sudden and unexpected increased level of difficulty as well as the unanticipated kaizo maneuver required in order to reach bowser and rescue the princess at the end of 8-4. Despite all the unexpected things that I didn't particularly like or may have even detested towards the end of the game, I still recommend the thing but only for very experienced players who don't mind the fact that they're without a doubt going to be continuing an awful lot and dying a lot of cheap deaths, and that save states are going to be required at some point in time during game play.
