Hack description

This hack changes the Dark Stalker boss fight in Tasnica to a Master Ninja, significantly increasing the difficulty of what was otherwise a fairly easy boss fight. The dialog of two NPCs has also been updated to refer to this enemy as a Master Ninja instead of a Dark Stalker, including when Sheex is unmasked as the identity of this mysterious disguised enemy.

Important things to note:

- How to combine this with the Variable Width Font hack: 1. Apply VWF, 2. Remove header, 3. Apply this hack, 4. Apply this hack's VWF support hack.
- How to combine this with Relocalized: 1. Apply Relocalized, 2. Apply this hack, 3. Apply this hack's Relocalized support hack.

C'mon, Sheexy, make it hurt so good.zoolgremlin2019-11-02Version 1.2

Tested as part of the ongoing Secret of Mana Turbo Project, by Queue (with various resources provided by zhaDe as part of Secret of Mana: New Game Improvement). Latest version used.

A much greater challenge than Sheex "The Dark Stalker" (was that supposed to be threatening? Try pulling this leg! I think the other one needs a break...). Though funnily enough... as a master of this game I beat him whilst only taking one hit, he didn't even get a chance to cast Stone Saber! Or maybe I lucked out somehow... wouldn't put it past me.

In any case, almost anything's worth a try to improve the Vanilla game, especially Boss battles which are a JOKE nowadays. Aren't "Bosses" supposed to be tougher, than the "Minions" lurking around in their dungeon/hideout/castle/floating battleship/etc.? Yeah. That's what I thought too.

And maybe for a child, they are. But you know what they say! "Time flows like a river, and history repeats..."

Make that, "And history moves on." Give it a try, but beware the might of NINJAAAAA POWAAAAHH! Wotcha!

Good stuffhmsong2019-10-13Version 1.1

This is very good. While the enemy doesn't have a lot of HP, he can dish out some serious damage. And because he is immune to most Status Effects, the fight becomes more interesting.
