Hack description

Super Mario Impossibros is a hack of Super Mario Bros with (some) different graphics, and harder levels. Most of the graphics and all of the levels have been hacked. If anything is the game has not been hacked, it is because the author (me) does not wish to change those aspects of the game for this hack.

The original game, with half-messed up levels.MRDFG Blacha2024-05-26Version 1.0

That's all I have to say from the headline, this hack half modifies the levels in a very weird way so they now look somewhat messed up, and only some graphics in the game have been changed. Aside from all that, it's still the original Super Mario Bros. now and then.

Needless to say, I don't recommend it.

Not a lot of changes to the levels, feels very lazyhdofu2021-08-10Version 1.0

Well, there are some graphic changes and sprite changes, but overall a lot of the game isn't changed at all and it really makes this hack overall boring. There are only enough changes going on to remind you that it's been hacked (some coins moved, redesigned graphics. If you are going to the trouble to redesign the game make some changes that go beyond moving a few blocks here and there and moving the coins a few spaces, adding a few coins, it feels like the author went through, changed a few things in each level to be the bare minimum to call it a "Complete hack" when it really feels like it was going more to be an improvement hack as far as graphics go, which to be fair aren't bad, they aren't great either but they look nice enough. With the levels like they are now, I can't recommend the hack as it frankly the level design is lazy and just feels like an uncomfortable offness from the original game. It'd be better if you made a set of a few new levels that actually are well designed vs slapping new blocks and coins everywhere in familiar levels.
