The patch fully translates the game to English. It has some issues that make emulators crash at certain points in the game, which will be resolved in a future update.

Great Translation - Emulator issue workaroundCube17012024-05-07Version 1.0

This is a wonderful translation, but I just wanted to mention how to avoid the issues with crashing on an emulator: in some conversations, the text box moves around. If you try skipping dialogue when this happens, the game will crash. So if you're careful about skipping dialogue, you'll avoid the crashes. I played through the entire game just fine on P64.

Excellent translation - Some issues to be aware ofPiplup872021-05-10Version 1.0

I would recommend this translation it is very well done. Played on an N64 with an Everdrive x7. This is a great game and can definitely be enjoyed fully by English speakers with this version.

Before playing be aware of the following things:

There were maybe 3 or 4 typos and a couple of awkward sentences here and there, very minor, these did not impact gameplay at all.

Like the other review, there was one spot where the game froze because of a shaking dialogue box. I only saw this happen once, after resetting things proceeded just fine.

There is one spot in the game where you are presented with two dialogue options that were left untranslated, this did not impact the playthrough at all.

There were two major issues that came up that I think should be addressed for this patch to be considered "complete":

There is one battle in the middle of the game where the opponent doesn't move or take any action. I don't think this is intentional. It can be seen on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ayrVMdBax6Y&list=PLxVIUjTcLwdAZqStowc9ODDW91CQCvnbn&index=12 at the 16 minute mark.

The other issue mentioned already in the other review is that the end credits freeze before they are completed. This can also be seen at the very end of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6ni8QvkeGY&list=PLxVIUjTcLwdAZqStowc9ODDW91CQCvnbn&index=15

None of the things I mention above critically impacted the playthrough, I would love to see a fix for those two major issues, but I don't think either of them should stop anyone from picking this up and enjoying this great game.

Fun game, good translation with a few bugs to be addressed.kaiisen2020-10-10Version 1.0

First of all, thank you for translating this game, I had quite fun with it and I hope someone will translated V2 too some day.

As for the bugs, I found this situation where, whenever trembling dialogue boxes appears(like the NPC is screaming or something), the game will crash. I only have got this tested on Project64 though. The Japanese/unpatched game won't crash at all so this is translation related. The good thing is that the only trembling dialogue boxes are from optional conversations. Main plot conversations never used those so you can proceed no problem.

Also, the game will crash at the very end scene of the game, but don't worry since you won't miss a big deal: after that point you're only supposed to see a THE END screen. Again, this develops just fine in the Japanese/unpatched game, so it must be translation related as well.

Thank you!
