| Appreciated Title Change | El Duderino | 2021-02-25 | Version 1.1 |
This is a cool Natsume developed action game based on the first set of what the West would know as Power Rangers. The title screen hack may seem like a small change, but it's an appreciated one to localize the title. Looks official. Great work!
| Not Game-Changing But Nice To Have | Eldrethor | 2021-02-25 | Version 1.1 |
This is one of those hacks that don't do a whole lot but is nice to have for those who want it. The thing is that the majority of the base game is already in English, and there is very little text in the game as is. The only place where a translation would be needed is the title screen, and chronix did an excellent job here. He beautifully transformed the Japanese characters in a way where the English wording retains the original title's stylized look and feel. It looks like how I imagine the logo would look had Jetman been properly localized in the US. My only nitpick is that, being a Super Sentai snob, I feel that the magic in the naming gets lost in translation. While "Bird Squadron" is absolutely correct, "Choujin Sentai" has a certain dazzle to it that the latter lacks, and it would have been nice to have had an alternate patch for this. Not a big deal though, since the goal was to translate the title, not localize it. Overall, a great job. Not game-changing by any means, but it's very nice to have.
| Doesn't need to exist. Game's already in English. | The T | 2020-09-24 | Version 1.1 |
The only thing this translates is the title screen, and very lightly changes a line of Engrish in the ending. Completely pointless.
