Translation description

This patch translates Dragon Quest 3 for SNES from Japanese to Spanish. It has taken as reference an intermediate Japanese to English translation, made by DQTranslations.

This translation has been made by Rod Merida, by taking as a basis the English script made by DQTranslations in 2009 for this game.

As part of its ROMhacking work, this patch corrects the bug inside the English script that corrupted saved games on certain scenarios.
It also fixes some messed item descriptions when objects are reviewed by a female Dealer, one of which freezes the game.
Added to this, it solves the bug that made two paragraphs from the final narration, during the ending, not to appear, making the user to miss relevant information from the conclusion.

This patch needs to be applied over an unheadered Japanese Super Nintendo ROM of "Dragon Quest III - Soshite Densetsu e... [Japan]".

As someone who's been learning Spanish for a few weeks now, this patch actually helps me further both the ambition and the ability to do so. By comparing this translation to the English one, I can learn Spanish easier. The bugfixes are, just like with DQ1 and 2, a great thing to have. I hope these, too, get ported over to the English patch (addendum). Having this trilogy in English and polished up at last would honestly be a pretty big milestone.

First of all, congratulations to the team that made this translation possible: Dragon Quest III is undoubtedly in the TOP5 of this saga and is one of the most beautiful and enjoyable JRPG's of SNES. I remember having completed it years ago in perfect English and the idea that now it can reach millions of Spanish speakers who decided not to give it a chance because of the language barrier seems to me reason enough to recommend it 100% and within my humble possibilities, help to make it known.
