Another one of BetaWorld's long-untranslated programs, SMBED is a graphical pointer editor for SMB1 that supports the modification of BG tile pointers. It also has the functionality as a background editor that allows the custom rearrangement of graphics. Easy to use that can be picked up within seconds, block types are properly addressed as well as real-time graphical updates, being present upon changing values.

As this utility does not support enemy sprite tile pointers, frantik's SMB Graphics Workshop would need to be separately downloaded as it does contain this feature. English translation by Eden GT.
