Works Great...Sometimes..Sephirous2018-05-01Version 1.1

Revamp is an excellent utility that covers just about all editing features throughout the Castlevania 3 Game. Editing and changing graphics is a breeze. Importing custom graphics also comes with ease. Revamp allows editing of Sprite and Graphic Sheets with minimal corruption. Palettes can be modified for both character and stage colors as well as the ability to change 4 X 4 tiles. Revamp can also be used for cheating, Lives Count and Health editors give the user the ability to change certain characters damage ratio as well as the removal of instant death objects. Speaking of objects, Revamp also allows editing of Sprite Objects giving the modification of Hazards a simple task without the need of a hex editor.

Though Revamp has many good features there are a few that still need work. The American versions of Castlevania 3 seem to work perfectly but for users that want to modify the Japanese Version may find Revamp more of a battle than a fun tool to edit. Stairs don't have any kind of import editor or removal which leads to dumping the unused stairs around the screen hoping the player doesn't accidentally touch one sending them to oblivion. Editing the Japanese Version also can cause damage to the game as in most cases Revamp and the Rom get out of sync causing doors to malfunction. This can be very dangerous as it seems to occur in later stages which can cause a bricked Rom with no way to repair it without knowledge of ASM.

Overall Revamp is a very good utility, It just needs a little Revamping of itself here and there.

Not 100% Compatible with Akumajou DensetsuMorinis2018-03-27Version 1.1

As of today on 3/27/2018 I'm writing this review to let everyone know that reVamp is NOT 100% compatible with the Famicom version of Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse called Akumajou Densetsu. It begins to create bugs and breaks a lot of the game play when testing out your creation to see if everything works. Doors move which are unable to work and even go into other rooms (making it 4 doors instead of 2), enemy data becomes corrupt and causes massive amounts of headache.

I still recommend this if you are going to edit the U.S version, Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse, but if you are going to edit Akumajou Densetsu, forget it as it relies on many other factors to function because of regional differences and functionality.

This editor needs to be for the U.S version only while another version needs to be for the Japanese one only. Keep them separate please instead of bundled into one.
